Private Treaty Sale Terms

This year we have yearling purebred Simmental bulls for sale via private treaty. We have black, red, and black/white face bulls this year. All bulls are polled and registered through the American Simmental Association. Our ASA Herd number is 007100. Bulls are located 1/4 mile north of White, South Dakota. Contact Gared to come see the bulls in person. If distance is a barrier, reach out to us and we can send you additional photos and/or videos by request. Call Gared for pricing and availability on bulls. As animals are sold, we will update our website and Facebook page. Similar to previous years, we can hold bulls free of charge until May 1, 2025 and will work with the buyer to schedule a delivery time. We will deliver free of charge up to 250 miles from White, South Dakota. We will give vaccine boosters and have a certified veterinarian conduct a fertility and soundness exam mid-April before delivering. If a bull has issues pre-delivery (fails fertility and soundness exam, injuries, etc.), we will reimburse you for the purchase price.

Bull Protocol

Bulls are bucket fed grain twice daily and fed free choice alfalfa/orchard grass hay. Bulls were given Inforce 3 and Trishield paste at birth. At pasture turnout on June 5, 2024, bulls were vaccinated and poured. They were vaccinated and poured again prior to weaning on October 15, 2024. Bull calves were weaned on October 31, 2024. Booster vaccines were given on November 15, 2024. On January 9, 2025, bulls were given booster vaccines and poured. On February 28, 2025, bulls received a First Fuseguard shot and poured.
